The Word for the Day (week) is "BLAH"

Do you ever have "blah" days? I'm trying not to fall into a dreary mood, but just not having much luck. The weather is just starting to warm up, all is good with my kids and hubby. I just feel, well. . . blah. When my heart is heavy, or when I'm really mad and just need to work things out I always reach for my vacuum cleaner. Weird, I know. But, there is something very theraputic about cleaning. So today I grabbed my trusty vacuum and got busy. I super cleaned my house. I never let it get out of hand, so it's not like I needed heavy machinery to come in and help me clean up. I dusted ledges, doors, blinds, baseboards and the list goes on. I polished my hard floors and sucked out the corners on the carpet. I even did some bathroom reorganizing. I thought that all this crazy cleaning would somehow make me feel better. Nope. . . still "blah". I sat in the sun and focused on all that I have to be grateful for. I prayed. I worked out. Still, I just can't seem to shake this gloomy, heavy heart. My business is doing well. It's growing and we will have our new web-site up this weekend (www.shimmerzpaints.com). I have the most amazing design team ever. We leave for vacation in a couple of weeks (and yes, my kids are healthy). I should be about ready to burst with excitement. Again, nope, just not feeling it. Somehow, I've gotta get over this. Have any advice? Please send me some love and advice. I could also use your prayers. Thanks!

Sometimes you just have to blame it on female hormones!! I think you have done everything you can to shake it!! I'll say a prayer for you too!

I'm having one of those weeks! I will pray for you. Here is something that lifted me up:

Revelations 3:8

When God leads you to the edge of the cliff, trust Him fully and let go. Only 1 of 2 things will happen. Either He'll catch you when you fall, or He'll teach you how to fly! The power of one sentence! God is going to shift things around for you today and let things work in your favor. God closes doors no man can open & God opens doors no man can close.

Awww man! I'll keep you in my prayers sister. One thing...maybe go get some blood work done and a physical check up. Can't hurt if you haven't done that in a while. I'm really bad about that myself.. Ya just never know. You said you're going on vacation in a couple weeks. We are going to Florida the last week of April. Where you all going?
